Donating to The Goddess Shrine

Thankyou for your interest in donating to The Goddess Shrine.

The Goddess Shrine is not as yet an official Not for Profit Organisation. At least not with the paper-pushing-type sections of government who are involved with all of that. The Shrine is however it's own entity that lives at the Lunation Temple, but is completely apart from any monetary dealings of the Lunation business.

Why does The Goddess Shrine want to raise money?

We have a rather large wish list for The Shrine, that involves various short term and longer term aims for the greater publicity of The Goddess Shrine. The overall aim of The Goddess Shrine is to bring She Who Is into understanding and honour in our mainstream society. We would like to see Her taken seriously, and not thought of as simply an idyllic mascot for hippies and feminists (not that there is anything wrong with that itself)...She is so much more.

Some of our goals are:

- to invest in professional signage at street level, and through the Bunda Street building, promoting The Goddess Shrine.

- to make available colour information flyers about The Goddess Shrine for tourist centres and other info points around Canberra and the Nation, promoting The Goddess Shrine.

- to raise the money to register as a Not for Profit Organisation.

- to use money raised by The Goddess Shrine to sponsor individuals to attend various conferences and forums so as to promote both the Goddess, and The Goddess Shrine at these events.

- all with the intention of raising the public's awareness of all that is She, the Goddess of 10,000 names...

Donations also help cover costs of candles and incense used at The Shrine, and all items used in the monthly 'Wishes Rites'.

How can I make a Donation?

The Goddess Shrine holds events throughout the year in order to raise funds. Visit our Events page to see what's coming up HERE >>>

Visitors to The Goddess Shrine may make donations by placing money in the Donation Box, located on the altars of The Shrine.

The Goddess Shrine is not yet a registered organisation, so we do not have our own bank accounts. At this time all moneys coming from outside sources can be sent to Lunation, and every cent is promised to be transferred into the ownership of The Goddess Shrine immediately. All donations received by The Goddess Shrine are kept in order via written accounts.

Cheques can be sent to The Goddess Shrine made out to Lunation, and posted to the PO Box address below. Please enclose a note directing the funds to be transferred to The Goddess Shrine in your honour.
